Suomen Lauttaliikenne Oy, in everyday use Finferries, is a Finnish state-owned shipping company responsible for ferry, commuter ferry and cable ferry traffic. Our 50 routes are located in beautiful archipelago and lake landscapes, from Utö in the Turku archipelago to Kemijärvi in Lapland. You can check out our routes here.
Our offices are located in Turku and in Savonlinna.
We are renewing our fleet and investing in environmentally friendly vessels, such as the battery-driven ferries Elektra and Altera operating on the Parainen-Nauvo route. With us, you will get to focus on the developing technology that will help us move towards low-emission vessel traffic.

Working together further strengthens the Finferries spirit. Every two years, we organise staff days for the entire personnel; previous ones in Naantali in 2023. Our Turku office has organised a Bring the Children to Work day. We have also participated in the annual Job Shadow Day. On National Reflector Day 1.10.2023, we distributed 5000 Finferries reflectors to our passengers on all our routes.
