Finferries mobile app and about collecting data
The free app can be used to e.g.:
- select your favourite routes
- receive news on your favourite routes as push messages on your phone
- browse timetables
- subscribe to traffic email news for different routes in case you create an account
Finferries is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by possible errors in the app. Official
timetables and traffic news can always be found on Finferries’ website: www.finferries.fi/en
About collected data
The data collected by the Finferries mobile app varies depending on whether you decide to log in
to the app or not. If you create an account and log in to the app, you can choose to receive traffic news by email. In this case, the app will save your email for as long as you are subscribed to traffic email news. You may also register your phone number, but it is not necessary. The possible data will not be shared to any third party.
The app can always be used without logging in.
The app does not collect any other personal data besides your favourite routes, which is device specific.
The app uses GPS data to locate the closest route.
